Besides the Aston Martin DB 10 (driven by James Bond – Daniel Craig), Jaguar Land Rover will provide three models to feature in the 24th James Bond movie, SPECTRE. The Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations team is responsible for delivering all cars.
Up until now the Jaguar C-X75 was only known as the spectacular concept car introduced in 2010. The hybrid-electric concept car offered 778 hp through four electric motors, one for each wheel. Its batteries we’re recharged using diesel-fed micro gas turbines.
In 2011 Jaguar unveiled its plan to actually build 250 cars in partnership with the Williams F1-team. But these plans were cancelled in 2012 due to the global economic crisis.
For SPECTRE Jaguar built several C-X75 in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering (yes, the F1 guys!). The C-X75 will take part in a spectacular car chase scene in Rome. Rumours are the villain (Christoph Waltz) will be driving it.
Land Rover Defender Big Foot
The heavily modified Land Rover Defender, dubbed “Big Foot”, will be demonstrating its superior off-road capabilities while crossing rough terrain with its 37-inch diameter off-road tyres.
Range Rover Sport SVR
Of course a member of the Range Rover family couldn’t be missing from this party. The honours are done by the fastest Land Rover ever, the Range Rover Sport SVR.
