Land Rover released a teaser video of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible driving through United Kingdom’s Crossrail construction project below London. This finally confirms the Evoque Convertible (on sale in 2016). A concept car was already shown in 2012, but up until now no official production plans were announced.
No further model-information has been released with the teaser. The car is still heavily camouflaged (including the driver’s helmet!), but the evocative Evoque lines seem to be well maintained.
The Evoque convertible benefits from the 2016 Model Year-changes and will be built alongside the five-door and coupé Evoque at Land Rover’s Halewood plant in the UK. More information will follow later this year.
